Graphic Design
Sayre* Coombs
Sayre has a BA from Brown University, where she studied the long history of art as a tool for social change. She went on to earn an MFA in graphic design from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) where she studied visual communication theory and design as interpretation—not just decoration.

Sayre began her career in Seattle, apprenticing with the esteemed Katy Homans, and designing books about art and artists. She still loves book design but has expanded her practice to include branding, wine labels, event materials and donor recognition displays.

Sayre is drawn to projects that require care, judgment, and imagination—and to work that creates real connection between people.
